Ixquetzalcoatl

A really old picture done way back in 2001, inked with a sharpie I believe and then colored digitally in Photoshop. This character was created as a cover design for a paper about the planet Venus and its mythological significance. She's supposed to be a blend of Venus, Quetzalcoatl and maybe a few other deities associated with the planet venus. Perhaps I'll redo her some day, but I think this particular picture has held up well compared to a lot of the other work I did at the same time. Also given the fact I think I've lost most of the other files from that year for some reason.
